I am using Deluge 1.3.15-8 on a Synology DS214 NAS. Now granted this is not the fastest box out there - however, once I get to 50 or more torrents, the web UI or the client just cannot cope. It is slow to update/refresh, add new torrents, force re-check, move files etc. The delay is of the order of a few minutes to 30 minutes to never. Moving fast from a pre-release beta application, all the way through to an established Synology primary app for DSM, Desktop Client and mobile app, Drive has become one of the most impressive applications in the arsenal of apps included with your Synology NAS Drive server. I use this as my primary client due to being so more flexible than Transmission. Having said that I have had problems with it. Quite a number of times (actually most times) that Synology releases a new version of DSM the rTorrent stops working and it needs to be reinstalled losing all of its torrent config data.
Dec 26, 2017 · Hi Paul, just an FYI sonarr works the same whether running on Synology, Mac, windows etc. sonarr manages the process of automatically grabbing tv shows however how well it does this is dependent on the sources you use with it (indexers for torrent files or NZB files for Usenet, which also requires a Usenet subscription).
