Jun 29, 2012 · Someone has set up a Paypal account using me email address and Paypal aren't interested. I have two email addresses, the one that is linked to my Paypal account and a Gmail address, which I have had for about 12 years and has never been linked to a Paypal account. Anyway, I think it's easier for me to create one new using gmail itself and forget this. Something similar happened to me where someone created a Paypal account and seems to be using my email address as their secondary address. I say that because when I type my email address into Paypal and click that I forgot my password it says there is no account associated with that email address.
